Game On '11-'12

New Year New Class
We have had many new students, curriculum changes, and new things to get use to.  I also had to have all the paper work finished for using this blog.  Needless to say it has taken a lot longer for me to get it together this year.

In the beginning we had to tell our good friend Miss K good-bye as Lively needed her.  The previous year we needed her.

We have had a few events to share so let's get started...Our school has been divided into teams our class is part of the team called Heroes.  We are working toward keeping our school clean, our classroom orderly and being students of good character that help with other grade levels cleanliness also.  We had a huge pep rally to get started.  Thus far we are behind in the scores, but by very little.

Mr. Crotty came and we planted our fall garden of which I cut some broccoli for my personal Thanksgiving dinner.

August found us getting use to school.
September found us splitting Miss K's class and getting use to more students.
October found us meeting Mr. Tooth to tell us to brush our teeth more often and Gilbert's first "Trunk or Treat" where everyone dressed up and got treats from the trunks of cars.
November found us learning MANY educational things in science, math, social studies, and reading/language arts.  Writing has played a major part in our learning as well.  We will succeed with a lot of practice and patience.  Mrs. Wise sent home a practice pack for all since we have to be thankful for a Fall break of one week.

I hope this time of Thanksgiving finds you appreciating all the wonderful things you and your family have.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Kindergarten Grizzlies!
