Are We Still In Texas?

Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow?  Apparently not.  So if you believe your ears and eyes Spring will come early this year.  It seems strange to have been at home for 3 school days because of the weather.  Are we still in Texas?  However, at our house the rolling black outs hit every hour and the temperature was no laughing matter.  The Internet down time was not good---missing the weather reports, and of course playing "angry birds", as well as reading the latest James Patterson novel really was painful. (ha)   We still can't wash some laundry as the water is frozen.   We get really spoiled to the "good life."


The Wise team has received the third Kids of Character tag for exhibiting respect, responsibility and citizenship.  In other words you have to be good everywhere you go.  The whole class gets the reward if we have the most "tickets" for the Six Weeks.  The next characteristic is trustworthiness.
The goal is to follow the school motto even more diligently...each child, each day, success!
